Han's Acupuncture February 28, 2019

Male 67 years old

Main complaint:
leukopenia (low white blood cells)

Treatment period: From October March 11th, 2017 until Dec 19th, 2017

Treatment used:
For three consecutive years, a blood test result showed that the patient has lower numbers of white blood cells (WBCs) in the blood than normal people. This means that his body may not be able to fight injection the way it should be. However, leukopenia does not cause any symptoms, so it is normal for people to find out they have low white blood cell counts after completing a blood test or when they actually get an infection. The patient was worried about his blood status and wanted to restore to its normal state. Instead of acupuncture treatments, the first package of herbal medicine was prescribed to improve white blood cell production and immune systems. After two weeks, he decided to have a second package of herbal medicine. After two monts, in December, he completed another Complete Blood Count test, and the result showed that his white blood cells were in a normal range.
